Passive Aggressive

This song just came to me from nowhere really with the first line in the lyric - I just started humming 'she's a heart breaking lover and you'll never get another'. I strummed a few chords to it and it grew from there. The title came after I realised the song was about a battle of wills, for example you know how somebody moves something and you move it back then you return and it's moved again, that sort of thing. I thought I'd take it up to a metaphysical level and have a power struggle with souls, which may sound like a load of pretentious crap, but I thought it would raise the subject above pure pettiness. The drumming is really good on this track.
