You Let Me Down

There's always someone who let's you down at some stage in your life isn't there? So that's what this song is about, lamenting over lost love and rejection, boo hoo! Sometimes I think this song sounds like us sounding like Adam Faith sounding like Buddy Holly, it could be a late fifties pop song, in fact it probably was a late fifties pop song! We added some horn sounds to flesh it out a bit, I'm not sure if they work - maybe, I like them sometimes, then I wonder? I asked if we could end the song like Bowie's 'John I'm Only Dancing'. First 'Jean Genie,' now 'John I'm Only Dancing', well he is my hero!

Hitchcock Moments: I sing some backing vocals and fall asleep in the recording studio chair but I don't think anyone noticed.
