Friends Re-United

I was reading an article in a newspaper about divorce and it stated that the web site Friends Re-United was contributing to a growing number of divorces, due to people getting in touch with old school sweethearts through the site and then meeting up and starting an affair. This is another observational sort of song and not a judgemental one, though it does sound a note of warning at the end I guess, where I had this image of an old girlfriend remembering the sixteen old boyfriend she used to know and then meeting the wrinkly, balding middle-aged man I, I mean he had become! When I was first working on this one I was trying to play it in a 'Bo Diddily' style but I couldn't keep the rhythm so it was back to sub 'Ramones' style, I think it sounds pretty good though - very 'college rock'.
